MEANING OF LIFE
In Jesus we live in life. He is the Way to life and more. He is life itself. Proverbs and revelation through Rick Joyner also show that Jesus is wisdom in person – as well as grace and… as well as Everything. This is not pantheism. It’s just Colossians 1.16-18 – especially the part where it says ‘In Him all things hold together.’ The living way to have a ‘together life’ is to be His life. The Christ of God was revealed by His resurrection. You revealed as daughters and sons in His!
‘And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory’ Col 3.4 NIV. The revelation of Christ to the whole world occurs in you and in us. Because of the incarnation all of us as the church are Jesus multiplied. Not as deities but as daughters and sons.
With Jesus as our life we are well on the way to discover the meaning of life. In His light we gain the ability to penetrate appearances and perceive the reality behind the flux. Sure, we do not know everything because we are Christians. But we can advance in seeing beyond and through the chaos of good and evil because we are positioned in God. ‘Wisdom’ in Proverbs is a prophetic allusion to the coming Messiah – the One named by Isaiah as the Wonderful Counsellor and by Rick Joyner in his visions as Wisdom. The latter itself is an allusion to Jesus as the Living Word and logos in which all of life finds its meaning and true purpose.
Jesus touched the blind man and he could see. There is always a solution for spiritual blindness. John wrote, ‘In Jesus is life and that light is the life of all.’ It should not surprise us that the new and living way is The Way of Light; that the darkness can never overcome Him or those for whom Jesus is light.
‘The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day’ Prov 4.18 NIV. Written in the age of the old covenant this truth is even more so today. Since Christ Himself is our life He is also our light to bring insight and revelation as we journey on our way.
In the Mirror Translation we find ‘His [Jesus’] life is the light that defines our lives. (In his life mankind discovers the light of life.) The darkness was pierced and could not
comprehend or diminish this light. (Darkness represents mankind's ignorance of his redeemed identity and innocence) John 1.5.
Note well the words, ‘Darkness represents mankind’s ignorance of his redeemed identity and innocence.’ Many Believers stumble along in this ignorance because they have never been enlightened, while others do so because darkness forms part of their doctrine. Willingness to be led into increasing light dispels darkness. Unwillingness leaves us in our own fog. In a vision a woman saw rows of mute yet living statues, like corpses, yet alive – unable to be awaken and be touched by light and life - because they were unwilling to repent of their own ideas and lay them at the cross.
No willing person will ever walk in darkness because they will be open to the light of life.
Jesus continually dispels darkness since He is light Himself. He is drawing all who will hear into the into union with God in Himself. The trinity is the Source of light and life. The trinity created reality and it is in God that reality is known as it is In the Reality that is Christ, what we see and experience is understood for what it means for us in the season and the moment. Union with God is ours. In union with God we walk in the light and know the truth that sets us free from all kinds of humbug and confusion. In separation from God we participate in the ‘great darkness.’
The Enemy has dulled the witness of Jesus and His presence in many lives by creating a mindset of separation that defies the reality of our new covenant union with God. In the new covenant we walk in the light. By living in inside the barrel of an old covenant mindset we live in confusion if not in darkness. Walk in the reality of union that is already yours and honour what Jesus achieved for you through the cross.
‘When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life’ John 8.12 NIV.
‘Darkness represents mankind's ignorance of his redeemed identity and innocence.’ We can , unfortunately, live from a lesser christ and a false gospel.
If we are committed to the Christ of God and not some christ of our own, we will increasingly be drawn by His light into His life. Following Jesus means advancing with Him, with Holy Spirit and Father into our new covenant inheritance of union with God. We are in good company. We belong. The separating barrier of the law is no more. We are joined to God in the son of man/son of God. In Jesus we are in them and with them – them being the trinity. They have made their home in us.
‘Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them’ John 14.23 NIV.
HE SETS CAPTIVES FREE
To be sighted, to see what Jesus sees and to know what Father knows we must live in our new covenant inheritance of sonship. In a sense we are Jesus multiplied. Jesus is one with the Father and we in Him are one with our Father. We do not need to ‘get’ into this fellowship. He has placed the human race in God. But must choose if we are going to live the life He has given us are continue in our own efforts – living in imagined, separated life constantly obsessed with trying to get ourselves in shape so that we can get into union with God.
Don’t remain bound in your own notions of a false christ and a false gospel.
As stated we do not see clearly in separation. We minster a muffled version of His life. We may gather some folks around us but we are not spiritual leaders. We live in a spiritual fog and are blind leaders of the blind. Stifled by a mist from Satan we have succumbed to an anti-christ ploy where vision is dimmed, spirit is paralysed and our soul lives in a constant state of pneumonia. Jesus sets captives free, which means He liberates folk from false gospels.
‘I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them’ Isa 42.16 NIV.
There is an easy way out. Simply affirm Jesus as our life. Live in His gospel instead of the try harder gospel. Exult in your fellowship with each member of the trinity. See yourself propelled at great speed out of the great darkness into the increasing light.
‘For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God's glory displayed in the face of Christ’ 2 Cor 4.6 NIV.
‘The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day’ Prov 4.18 NIV.
